What do you do when you hit a plataeu to jumpstart your metabolism?

Staying the same weight for a week or two is very normal. But you can do things to help give your metabolism a jump. Eat more protein. Try eating 5 or 8 smaller meals in stead of 3 big ones and include some protein at each meal. Change your exercise. You can change the intenisity or duration. Add more variety to your exercise. Stay away from processed foods as much as possible (too much sodium). Change up the foods you are eating. Get in enough dairy (studies show it helps reduce fat). Also, make sure you are being honest about the foods you are eating. Sometimes we get slack and take in more than we think we are. That scale will move soon.
