Celebration: first home grown tomato of the year..from my brother’s Texas garden. Grandmother’s simple salad dressing recipe- mayo, lemon, salt n pepper. (I replace half the mayo with plain Greek yogurt to lower the fat some.) Classic / nailed it 😉

Yes, liv001~ It’s early days way up north here. I was so happy my brother brought me some from his first crop of the year. Look forward to seeing your harvest! I only eat fresh tomatoes in the summer and from gardens..too picky when it comes to tomatoes.

Like you, Cici, we're months out from fresh tomatoes. Maybe longer. It's going to snow again this weekend. I'm very fond of the sun gold cherry tomatoes. They rarely even make it into the house.
