Cool! It’s nice to be out on the water. The timber maze looks tough to paddle through

Oh we do. But costly as I do not own my own kayak yet keyword yet ha ha. My daughter and I were looking at them on Saturday. She’s ready to make a purchase very soon. So look out. I’ll be dodging sticks too ha ha 🤣

wifey9707 that's awesome! are you looking at new or used ones? my experience is the difference in an entry level Kayak vs a more expensive one is pretty drastic. I would definitely go the used route and spend the same amount on a better one thats a few years old. Either way they are all fun and all get you out there on the water. I would stay away from sun dolphin we had friends buy them and they were insanely unstable. the wife has a pelican that's an entry level and it's roomy, and stable, gets the job done.

Great tips otb. Thanks. I’m going to show this to my daughter. She was looking at new. They seemed like a lot of money to me. What do you call costly? Ha ha

wifey9707 in the US an entry level new kayak runs about $300 US if it were me and that's what you were originally looking at I would instead try and get something used for 300 that may have cost 500 or 600 when it was originally purchased new. they hold up well and there's no mechanical parts to really worry about but thw difference in build quality is pretty noticeable the more expensive they get. I got this one used for half of what it would have been new.
