Getting back into it - a recipe for the future.
I've just been away, and before that I was injured and before that I was away.
This means that my diet has been disrupted, I've been feeling down about the inability to exercise and general lack of progress. Prior to this I was steaming a long at a steady and productive rate, I was a little frustrated when I only lost 1lb after a weeks hard work but that's the way with these things. I'm really pleased to say that I've got my mojo back after a really short time.
So, how did I do it?
- weigh when you get back to establish the baseline
- track as soon as you get back, forget about the last days and just start all over again
- get back to the exercise, it really does work to set up your mindset
- revel in the success that you've experienced to date so you can build on it from now on, regardless of what might have happened during the break
- be the person you want to be. I'm now reaching the stage where people are noticing the weight loss and will be meeting people in the next few weeks who haven't seen me for a while and quite frankly I'm hoping to knock their socks off!
So .. future me, take note - this really works.

Thanks, it's a note to me for the future, in the past I've had times when an occasion like this I've gone off the rails so it helps to know what I can do to get back to it. Oh and the other thing I should have added was listen to some inspirational podcasts!
