A recent regular breakfast for me- 7 to 8 ozs. lean beef. I usually have a cup or two of rendered sauce in the fridge or freezer left over from a slow-cooked roast..adding a bit over ground beef truly elevates it to a chopped steak flavor and texture.

CiCi, I like to cook my (yuck) eggs in the pan I had sauteed my ground beef--or any other meat in. Agree that it enhances the flavor and for me during the periodic egg- aversion times, makes it possible to keep up my level of protein.

Haha- yes eggs are handy..I like to regularly have boiled peeled eggs in the fridge for a snack or to meal boost as you say. Grateful I like eggs..don’t like sardines or liver.
