up 2.6 in 5 days, but I'm not recording it!! I think I'm ovulating this week and that's causing some water weight and bloat. UGH. It'll probably hang around until AFTER my period, too. Being a woman sucks! lol I lose 1lb a month because the other 3 weeks, I'm fluctuating, ovulating and menstruating. Why can't men have something similar?

I can relate to this . I just accept the fact that my weight will fluctuate because I am female. I definitely do not record weigh ins often because of this.

Hey Amy, if it makes you feel any better, us guys have huge weight fluctuations too. Carbs, Sodium, a day of big meals, etc can add 6 or 7 lbs of water/food weight (short term) to my "average" weight, while a long endurance workout will knock 3 to 5 lbs off (short term also). I know its not quite the same cause, lol, but it still can be hard on the motivation sometimes. Hope you have a great Christmas and wishing you success in the New Year.
