I exausted myself working in the front gardens this afternoon. I need to take a lesson from working out at the Gym. I take little breaks between sets of exercises. I always have a little snack before I hit the weight machines. When I work outside, I have a tendency to keep going til I'm done for the day. I weeded & raked. I planted the lenten rose Hubby dug up cause it was growing in the area the tree guys will be working at the end of the week. It was a volunteer, but I found a spot for it. I transplanted another one from one garden to another to balance out the 1st one. Hubby helped by weedeating the center area of our front yard. It's not really a lawn, but it is green 😏 He also finally drilled some more drain holes in a pedestal planter I have that wasn't draining well, so the plants weren't happy. I moved it back to its spot in the garden in front of our house. And finally, I planted the Polka dot plants (I bought) & some Creeping Ginny (I "stole" from another pot) in one of the planters my sisters gave me. Lots done, but still lots to do.
Tomorrow I'm taking a break & going to the Gym 😉
The tree guys didn't come on Monday. They're now supposed to be here Thursday & Friday. It's supposed to rain tonight, so they're giving the ground time to dry out some to avoid making a mess with their equipment.
Off to bed.....😴💤💤
