Back at my target weight. Took 3 days to get rid of the excess weight from my blowout bash at Hometown Buffet.
I don't feel bad at all for falling off the wagon. We didn't really celebrate Thanksgiving with a big meal so maybe subconsciously I was trying to make up for it, I don't know. It could have been a lot worse. If we had gone to the Golden Corral and I was let loose upon their fantastic chili and Yankee Pot Roast, I might have had to be carted off on a stretcher!
I guess my one regret was going 'hog-wild" with the dessert bar; being prediabetic with insulin resistance that wasn't wise, but by employing an eating strategy I kept the spiking to a very minimal level, only getting up to 133.
Okay so when are we meeting up at the Golden Corral? GOt you with that one!
Edit: Brunch was chicken, wild rice, diced potatoes and salsa. Excellent taste and a lot of food!
