Very upset, my excuse is that it's being my wife's 50th birthday celebrations and there have been several occasions that all revolved around food. My wife's relatives are all Greek and all they do is eat and drink. I have been on my regime big time since Sunday otherwise I would have had a big weight gain.

Anyway I will not give in and next time will be better.
207.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 0.3 lb a week

For me, I do a lot better with a certain amount of calorie cycling. I spend the weekdays at about 80% of my RDI, then the weekends are about 100-120% of RDI. This gives me a pretty regular 1 pound a week loss. My theory is that it resets the metabolism to have some high-calorie days. (I don't think of it as "cheat" days. It's not a cheat if you do it on purpose.)

So just drink water, eat the lamb and skip the baklava!
