I'm 1.4 lbs away from 10 lbs lost. I can't wait for it to be 15 then 20 and so on. I've been going to the gym every day since Saturday but I won't make it tonight, I will probably do my walk around the neighborhood though.

I've been doing the eliptical at the gym and I get tired and ready to quit about half way through (30 minutes). I keep envisioning myself with the flat stomach, smaller hips and thighs, pronounced cheek and jaw bones, and visibile clavicals. I picture myself wearing a two piece bikini and not being self conscious. I imagine how good it will feel to be introduced as my husbands wife when I'm 50lbs lighter. How happy I will feel when I'm smaller than my husband has ever seen me. I tell myself that I'm the most determined person I know, that I've pulled myself out of terrible situations and made something of myself when everyone else around me became complacent in their mediocrity.

I think that I see the other side of the coin. Where "I've done so much with my life" doesn't earn a cookie, it earns great self-esteem, good health, and a better looking body. I'm not there yet but I can see it on the horizon. I just need to push a little farther.

It sure is motivating to get to those -5 pound markers! I'm working to get to my 15th. Just two more! Every pound down motivates me even more. You're doing great! Keep it up!

you've done fantastically!!! I'd give you a cookie - I'd even bake you a whole dozen! I find it really helps to focus on what you can do - some days it sucks to work out - but you CAN do it!!! and you are making a big difference.
