Weekend of semi decadence. Worked the annual Greek Festival with my peeps all weekend. 12 hour days on my feet, so a lot of exercise mixed with a lot more calories than I would normally consume.Great food and much sampling. Kept it to that though, mostly sampling here and there. I have (ALMOST) zero guilt though as this is a once a year deal and I can honestly say that I have been pretty dang commited to staying on track. (With help and encouragement from my buddies of course!) I was up about a pound on old Mr. Scale this morning, But I want to see what it says tomorrow before I enter. So Im back. Busy Monday!
Opah!!!!!!

it is all good. one day of eating will not make even a small dent in your weeks of progress. i know because i take these days to the extreme. 3-6k over, it all works out in the end if you get back on track.

I'm a sucker for Greek food. I probably would have done much worse than you did. Kudos for keeping it to sampling! I absolutely adore cooking. My husband has complained that I cook too much. Coming from a family of 11 siblings, I never quite got the hang of cooking for our family of 3. I probably cook for about 6 right now. It means leftovers, of course. I don't mind them, but my husband won't eat it unless it's put in a pot on the stove.... with me working nights, that doesn't happen every night. I have to start cooking more often again. I had slacked, sometimes only cooking once or twice a week. That meant a whole lot of drive-thru stops. Unfortunately, the only drive-thru places on my way to work are McDonald's, Burger King, and Taco Bell/KFC... all notoriously not the healthiest choices.. though McDonald's does have a phenomenal grilled chicken southwest salad. I think Subway should put in a drive-thru window!

Yeah, I have to agree - Subway should have a drive-thru window! I would definitely eat there over the other places. Our Subway is already a bit out of the way, but to have to park, get out and go in just defeats the purpose of FAST!! As it is, I just grab a salad at Wendy's. *sigh*
