It’s National Pancake Day! Man, I haven’t made pancakes in soooo long. They are too easy to make, too full of calories, but they’re delicious.😋 I need to make them though for I’m into fitness… fitness a whole stack of pancakes in my mouth!🙃 Is it normal that I’m way more excited about pancake day than Valentine’s Day? I love my man so much, but I’ve known pancakes longer.😆 Traditionally, it is a day to use up all your sugary and fatty foods before giving them up for the six weeks leading up to Easter. Hubby loves pancakes. They are okay to me. I get more excited about a good salad. I know, I'm a freak. Our religious sect doesn't do Lent but I celebrate all of the fish sandwiches that appear this time of year. I am totally into fish.

Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday! Lent was always a good time to lose a little weight, but then comes Easter.

Morticia you’re so funny I really enjoy you.👍🤗 I love making a pancake every once in a while, but I haven’t done it in a long time. I make myself eat a salad every day. Sometimes I love them sometimes I want to skip them. 🫤
My girlfriend also gets very excited about this time of year as McDonald’s fish sandwiches are very cheap I guess on Fridays. 😆

This was a weird year as Valentine’s Day with all the chocolates and all the treats came on the first day of lent - CRAZY! 🙃

Fish is very exciting to me too. Must be some cat DNA in me. If I were single I would spend my days going from one Lent fish sandwich to the next. Arby's has a good one.

Morticia, believe it or not, they did studies on cats and they really do not like fish. The cat food industry, though found a cheap way to market their product with fish as meat. Honestly, I would like to have that for dinner tonight. We’ll see how it goes. 😋🍤
