I'LL HAVE WHAT SHE IS HAVING
I went walking with the beast this morning-down to the beach-beautiful cobalt sea and the hint of autumn sting on my cheeks. It felt so good. Even the beast seemed to sense the beauty in between burying his nose in the tidings of dogs past.
Walking up the hill on the home stretch, we passed a house and I heard the distinctive braying of a lonely Basset hound. It makes me sad to think of a dog home alone. However, as we got closer the brays took on a distinctly human and, well, sexual, tone. There was another person walking past and our eyes met and we giggled, and I said "good God! I'll have what she's having!" It was so loud and so primal and went on and on-I could hear it well past the house. Lucky girl!
So far today I had a green tea shake from Coffee Bean and Tea Leak and half a bbery scone. Will have to log it and deal with the numbers. First day back to logging is gonna hurt. Reality bites!
