Woke at 215.8, down .4 from yesterday. Will try to get in a workout tonight. Targeting about 1350 calories to make up for the past two days (or a 1500 deficit if my workout takes the calorie burn high enough). UPDATE: A bit puzzled coming home from work. Ate 850 calories at work, including cottage cheese, protein powder, an apple, and a Quest bar. Came home at 217.2! Just when I think I have it figured out. But had to take a cab this morning as I was running late for my first meeting. That cut .7 miles out of my daily exercise. Also, I missed my daily coconut oil in coffee due to the rush to the meeting. Had to bring work home again and worked past midnight, so no workout.

Almost half a pound, not bad. I noticed you eat Chia seed. How to you eat that and what value does it have?

Bill you've been so busy the past day or more, maybe out of your regular routines and perhaps that's all it takes to throw things a-kilter? I was up 4 lbs from yesterday, I think a delayed reaction from going crazy on my wife's brownies at a pot luck over the weekend and sodium but who knows, got 3 of them off during the day today. But from one day to the next the scale can drive a person nuts! No worries, you'll get where you're headed and want to be.

Amazing, scary, and frustrating how the body can work against the best efforts. So many people think it is "calorie in/calorie out" equations that make you lose weight. But...we know better :) It will be interesting how that new plan will work out for you. Good Luck!

I do agree with you. I did pretty good on the CICO for awhile and then stalled. The closer I got to my goal the less CICO worked. I have a "highly adaptable" metabolism so my body just adjusts to whatever I try to do for any length of time. For that reason, I have change up quite often.

Ah, Bill, I hope so. Would certainly be faster and better if I stopped sabotaging myself :)

All that sounds great Dradlist. Sounds like it can provide a lot of energy. I didn't know cottage cheese was low carb. I may have to try it.
