I'm off of the LCHF diet. My training was suffering and I was feeling horrible. I know it was probably just the adaptation to burning ketones but I decided it wasn't worth it.

My training for the first half of the week was pretty poor. I did the Monday and Wednesday run but they were not where I thought they should be. Also I felt pretty miserable afterwards. My leg day on Tuesday was also difficult. I was getting light headed during some of the exercises. I did not work out on Thursday due to a terrible headache. That's when I decided to change my diet back to a balanced one. I ate a lot of carbs on Thursday and was feeling better afterwards.

Friday I did my run and was feeling pretty good. I ran 5 miles at an 11:44 pace. Yesterday I went for my long run of 1 hour and 45 minutes. I ran 8.75 miles and although pretty exhausted I still felt pretty good. That's the farthest I've run in recent history. I did refuel during the run using energy gels which I think helped a lot. The course I ran had some hills so I was really happy with my run.

Today is a rest day. I need to finish mowing the lawn but that's about it for today. Surprisingly my legs do not feel sore.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
