Yes! I just realized it is just a continuous one and not a new one every week. Sweet!

@moko Glad you're enjoying it! I'm so glad you joined! Excellent job not wigging out over the scale! Remember, the muscles will retain more water when beginning strength training & muscle is more dense than fat. That's why other methods of progress like pics & noticing how your clothes fit are so important when strength training. IMO, the best time to look at the scale is after a day or two of rest.

Yes, join up Diana!
Thanks Zenus! Yes, I’ve noticed I like to go up on the scale a bit more now (doing strength training workouts mostly for the past few months) but I do see lots of improvement in body parts so that is helpful. 😊 I like feeling strong I guess and the muscle is a trade off. Don’t seem to care as much about the scale as when I was just burning calories. Kind of nice.

That's great, moko!!! 😁 Even measurements don't do strength training justice sometimes. My upper arms are measuring just about the same as before beginning strength training, but A LOT of difference can be seen in pics! I'm so glad I took them! I would have been so frustrated if not!

Same with my arms Z! I have lost some weight but my arms are still the exact same measurement as when I began 30 lbs ago. They’ve always been kind of thick though. I remember getting senior portraits three decades ago and I hated the ones I did in a sleeveless top. 😅 Working these biceps and shoulders will hopefully shape them nicely so I look like a badass. 🤞🏼

You're on your way, moko! 🙌💪 That's the thing about just losing weight. After about 50 lbs of weightloss, my body fat % was the same as before, until I started strength training.
