I can't come close to 74 grams of protein with one meal a day. Maybe 60 with a,big glass of milk

Thank you for posting. What I love seeing is composed, colorful and edible items I like in other's dishes. Now I want to go recreate after I do my fasting period.

Wow, 1K calories a day. I did that once upon a time. You'll surely lose on that. Grass fed beef is so much better for us. I'm glad for you that you are focusing on health. I like to buy it at Trader Joe's since it is organic there. I can't handle the MSG.

Jenny style omad isn't actually fasting all day. I wake up at 4am to exercise then work until 5pm, so i have a protien shake with 1.5 scoops, had some pork jerky and vegetables for a snack, then dinner is my only real meal. I'm using omad to remove the meals to lower my cals. Hence the 74g of protein! I'm using it as a tool and not a strict way of life. Before, I was having eggs on toast, then lunch sandwich, and snack, THEN dinner, which was landing me at more like 1800-2k cals a day. It's working for me and keeping me sane, I'm not on keto or anything either. My blood sugar drops super low if I eat nothing (example is I fasted for blood work until 1030am once and the Dr. said "oh boy we gotta get you some breakfast " lol!

I like the food and the 💅 /legs🙂 You don't have to explain yourself on here to anyone. Do what you need to do to make yourself happy. Until you're back to where you're able to do everything you want. Minor set back for a major come back.

I agree with Joe. There are no rules. I may call it IF even if I have a cup of tea outside of my eating window. Saying I do OMAd is stretching hit a bit. Usually I don't eat "meals". My goal most days is getting 40-60 grams of protein minimum., usually without much meat. I'll have coffee, half an hour later I'll have 2 tablespoons pumpkins seeds, later, a cheese stick, then 16 ounces of skim milk. Then whatever it takes to get the protein higher, without protein powders or bars.

I don't eat traditional 3 meals a day either. I do eat breakfast, but it's usually between 10-11 AM. I have a snack around 4-5 PM. Dinner is 7:30-8 PM, and it's my largest meal. In maintenance, my snack is more calories than it was when I was eating in a deficit. Then, I tried to keep it around 200 calories or so. We are more likely to be successful when we find a plan that works for us.
