One thing you can say for swine flu - it certainly helps the diet. I find I am not really doing Atkins anymore. Just living on fruit with a few bits of fish and the odd small steak. I have cut out all bread/potatoes/other starchy items so that my only carbohydrate comes from fruit and almonds. The almonds are supposed to be good for my HDL/LDL and certainly they make a bunch of grapes a more filling lunch! Gone down from a size 22 to a size 16 - rather wonder if the scales are right as hospital scales weighed half a stone under. However still have some nasty fat rolls on the tum so its back to the rowing machine for me.

Blimp, I just wanted to say, sorry you're poorly and I wish you a full recovery...I wouldn't worry about the diet. Just concentrate on getting better. All the best, Caroline. A.k.a Bajan_mum (Here and on the Atkins website forums)
