Am over the moon with this new low 🥳 This follows two days fasting. Breaking fast three days from now. Plan to include bone broth, liver and onions, green beans with bacon. Halloween is next week. Hubby bought trick-or-treat candy and hid it in the house somewhere per my request. Am fasting on Halloween. I Googled the calories for the candy and plan to avoid it for the most part. I'm staying off the chocolate and will include measured amounts of taffy on eating days.

I think it's awesome you do 3 days a week! That's hard! I would want to try to add a 36 hr one weekly.

Oh so I was planning on being in the juice phase for Halloween since I'll be walking a lot but haven't decided if I'll be doing that or the water fast yet...

@T3r3sa7, it sounds like you have educated yourself and have a good plan 🙂👍 Searching PCOS in the fasting Reddit yields lots of anecdotes written by fellow sufferers. My takeaway is that women have reversed their symptoms with a keto/IF combo. It's worth checking out that Reddit because someone might point out a tweak you've never heard of. I don't know much about PCOS. Like most chronic illness, it seems to respond positively to diets that lower inflammation.

Thanks! I hate the "there's no cure" as maybe the Drs don't have it yet, but i do believe there are natural ways to help it at least. My Dr recommended the Mediterranean diet but I have also heard that Keto is good and IF as less eating times means less insulin released. I didn't know what it was either. 😂 But I'll have to do more reading and figure out a plan for November as it's a bit overwhelming having to change my way of eating. I'm used to small carb, protein, lots of veggies/fruit. But I really appreciate your advice!!!! I'll definitely check out Reddit more. Surprising about 10% of women have it including several of my friends i didn't know about so I don't think many people talk about it...

Thank Goodness we are too far out in the sticks for trick-or-treaters!! In 13 years we have never had a single one. We used to buy a big bowl of candy and then eat it ourselves. We have bought nothing the past couple of years because we nearly put ourselves into a sugar coma in 2018. You are doing great LadyD!
