Oh but the mayo is so good! I tried the olive oil variety and it's lower in fat/cals...worth a thought. I thought it was just as good too!

You can try mixing in some olive oil with the avocado. That'll give you a little moisture.

I don't need mayo, I just love avocado on toast. Now I'm avoiding bread so end up with just avocado, maybe with some salsa. No fun without chips. Ho hum. No wonder I'm no good at maintenance.

I use Bolthouse Farms yogurt dressing instead of mayo 40-50 calories per 2 Tbsp depending on the flavor. If you really want to cut back Walden Farms has zero calorie dressings.

Use a low carb wheat tortilla such as Mission Tortilla’s CARB BALANCE to make your own chips. Brush tortilla with a bit of olive oil or avocado oil, lightly sprinkle with your favorite Mexican spice or chili lime mix and bake till crispy. It makes 8 chips for me. I also make guacamole with a 1:3 ratio of greek yogurt to avocado. This again is all about mastering the art of portion control. You have to win that battle or you will fight this weight maintenance war forever, depriving yourself of wonderful foods for the rest of your life is not sustainable for most. Learning to make small tweaks that allows you to retain the essence of your favorites is crucial.

Kenna thats a great idea do you bake at around 400?

Yearofhealth— a little trial and error required. 400 degrees works pretty good, they go from zero to burn. I also do the same to make pita chips. With pita I use a lower temp because there is actually 2 layers and you want both to crisp up. It satisfies my need for chips, salsa and quac

Good luck 👍🏻 my wife hates mayo and I was able to quit early in life. …just lucky 😉

I traded my mayo for mustard. Ads flavor without the guilt.

Don’t forget cabbage— especially love it on tacos, sandwiches of all kinds. Nutritional value, taste. Perfect on tuna and ham sandwiches. Very seldom buy lettuce of any kind anymore

Reasons I love keto, I can have as much mayo and ranch as my heart desires!
