I am claiming victory even though technically I am not at 185 pounds even.
45 pounds lost since 4/15/2015.
What I ate to get here since then. A lot of Mexican food. My girlfriend is from Mexico and is a fantastic cook. I have to dance with the one that brung me, as the old saying goes ;-) Of course, that isn't all that I have had thanks to a few visits to Golden Corral and Hometown Buffet during this time. I have had more vegetables that's for sure, a lot more.
What I haven't had since then:
a single donut(or plural)
a Powerade except the Zero version
no pie, no cake, but small amount of peach cobbler twice
no more Del Taco or Mcdonalds at 2 a.m. right before bedtime
no french fries or hamburgers
no giant fast food burritos
I look at things now through a pre diabetes lens. I try to think before I eat it.
Yet when I look in the mirror, I still see a belly larger than it should be. And those BMI calculators still say that I am overweight. So the regimen will continue.
I think somewhere between the 175-178 range will be a good place to stop.
Edit: Here is my breakfast. 4 eggs fried, calabasas, don't know how many bacon strips and 2 corn tortillas.
Anyone still think that I am getting too few calories? And by the way, from a pre diabetic perspective this is a pretty good breakfast.
I am not making any prediction about tomorrow's weigh in ;-)
