Gave up refined sugar on 9/10/23. Was easier than I expected. No ice-cream, cakes, candies, sodas, sugary coffees. I was never a huge sweet eater but I go in the habit of stopping for ice-cream 2 times a week while going to the chiropractor for 6 months. Only drank wine one last weekend with my sisters. And had 1 chocolate pecan cluster she wanted me to try. I did stop at 1. Still trying to regain my strength since my hysterectomy surgery. I couldn't do much for a couple weeks and still feel like I have muscle atrophy. Finally back to being able to lift and bend and boy am I sore. I find myself taking frequent breaks, sweating profusely, and popping ibuprofen every morning to get moving.
