"Cheated" a bit today in sharing a beer with friends, but... and this is a huge one.. I only had one. There were chips and other snacks and all sorts of mixed drinks. Having only a single beer wasn't terribly difficult either. Nice. I'm glad I didn't take in tons of calories on the empty stuff but certainly enjoyed a beer after a solid couple of weeks strictly following this WOE. Have a good weekend all!

Thats really a big step, man. We get attuned to eat and drink whatever, whenever. I see this as a pretty big thing, as now you know that you can still enjoy a little indulgence and be okay. You hung with your buds, did not get all crazy an now you KNOW you can do it again. If I did not know that I couldnt nosh the occasional slice of pizza, have an occasional beer or whatever it may be, I would not stick it out. Good job.

Thanks.. And I agree that many people take their "diet" way too seriously. I'm relaxed about it and enjoy the occasional snack or treat. If I'm starving then I eat. It doesn't make sense to be hungry or totally depriving yourself over a couple hundred calories. In the long run I just want to be happy and balanced. I have to keep this up for many years to come and this is the best way I know how. Good luck on your journey!
