Good morning buddies!Just a quick check in this a.m. I didn't make my step goal yesterday but I didn't really try all that hard either ;). Sometimes (after using your brain entirely too much for too long) You just need to get caught up on your favorite shows!

Went to the farmers market last night for some sweet corn. Super delicious, but I guess I'd been lying to myself about the calories/carbs. I weighed my corn before and after I ate it, subtracted the difference and logged exactly how much I ate. Ah well, It's a high yield food right lol. I regret nothing!

A couple NSV's this past weekend that I forgot to mention. Other than eating well and passing on cake (twice) my aunt said to me "you're losing weight again". Indeed I am, how nice of her to notice. I can tell others notice as well, you get those funky looks. "I'm working on it" was my reply. And the other NSV is that I'm wearing jeans I didn't dare try on a month or so ago. Now granted I was in these jeans once before then regained some weight and gave up on them for a while, it's still a victory. Progress is progress.

Goal today is to get my steps in, but we will see how it goes. I'm going grocery shopping after lunch, then class tonight. I need to get back to some regularly scheduled exercise. I guess I'm still recovering from the weekend. The stress takes its toll on you as much as the activity.

I tend to hoard funnies that I find and plan on sharing with you at some point, and NM's funny post motivated me to finally get around to sharing mine. I hope you enjoy, have a wonderful day my friends!!

How far we have come.... we tend to forget that and focus on what we think we need to do and get frustrated if we don't meet those goals.

Good for you on the NSV's!! Sometimes we need a night off, so I'm sure that taking a "rest" day for you was well deserved and your body appreciated it.
