Carna asada is one of my go to's when my husband and I go to our local restaurant for a meal together. I also really enjoy it with avocado 🥑 but it takes me two or so attempts to eat all 😆. No complaints though just two meals for the price of one for me 😁 that is if i can keep my hubby from sneaking my leftovers. ^^

@Big Boy 71 if you make the Carne asada yourself you can control the ingredients thus making it healthier. i.e. using grass fed beef and organic ingredients. With no dyes or artificial ingredients, likely to have way less sodium. To me it's way better than the restaurant Carne or the stuff from the counter at the grocery stores.

How does one make carne asada I've always wanted to know how they make the meat so dang tender. My husband says he thinks they may place it in the steam well and that makes it softer but idk... I know that when making a lot of Chinese-american meats you velvet the meat but I'm not sure of their treat in this case... anyone know 🤔🤨?

I make Carne Asada, but it is different and way better than the Mexican restaurants. The cut is important, but I have used the recipe below on a roast before with amazing results! I personally marinate mine longer. https://www.masterclass.com/articles/authentic-carne-asada-recipe
