I used to live in South italy.. Once my mum cracked 4 eggs on a pan. We got 8 yolks. 🤣🤣 It was actually way more common back there. But 4 in a row was a first for me.

Young, energetic hens lay them. As they mature they become more stable. I always feel sorry for the girl who lays the *huge* egg. Boy, that's got to be painful!
My girls are 'no spring chickens' so one actually lays miniature eggs!
