Greetings Best Buddies:
Well, the jury is still deliberating about the MCT oil (medium chain trigylcerides) in my Bulletproof coffee rather than straight coconut oil.
I had my coffee today, and went to the gym - it was NOT better; in fact it seemed the beginning of the workout was well-powered but about 45 minutes into the 60 minute class, I crashed.
I suspect I got immediate energy because MCT oil is absorbed quickly - but possibly no lasting power. Tomorrow, I will go back to my straight coconut oil before my workout.
I finally saw my favorite most fabulous ENT doctor! I am on antibiotic for 30 days and prednisone again for two weeks! It will be very challenging to see weight loss with the steroid - but I am determined to see a loss in the month of August! If the medicine doesn't knock out icky stuff, I will do sinus surgery again.
Words of the Week: "The will to win means nothing without the will to prepare." I am dedicated, determined and diligent.

Have you considered using a netti pot? It's not glamorous, but very effective to be so low tech.

I have used netti pots in the past and they do help.

Thanks folks - I have used sinus washes for years - THIS is so beyond what you imagine. I have huge polyps in my sinuses so they must get surgically removed - and the doctor thinks there is a bacterial problem up in the sinuses, too.

Bullet proof coffee is Coconut Oil and Butter mixed in your coffee. I also use Heavy Whipping Cream....very good and appetite suppressing. Not sure why the call it bulletproof as I am sure if I get shot, I would bleed.

LOL - Moneymax - Dave Asprey created it and wrote a book about his nutrition plan that helped him lose 100 pounds - The Bulletproof Diet

DonnaBarbour - I sent you a private message about BP Coffee

How much butter and coconut oil per mug of coffee?
03 Aug 15 by member: Scalewatcher3
|
GOOGLE Bulletproof coffee if interested. It is one tbsp each of grassfed butter and coconut oil in a mug. Pour hot coffee over it to melt. Add sweetener and/or milk to your taste and the key is you must BLEND it with an immersion blender or your big blender. It emulsifies the fats and make a frothy latte type drink. It is high fat and low carbs - I do not eat for many hours after I drink it in the morning.

Take care Buddy and truly joining all your other buddies

hoping that predisone is helping; only for two weeks; but, still tough. I had to be on it for ten days for poison ivy, it is tough and wanting to eat more. Sure don't want anyone to have to have sinus surgery, good luck
