Haven't posted for awhile because life has been less than happy. My brother's health not only did NOT improve, but after some painful discussions he's gone into hospice. My sister came to town & stayed for awhile, which was helpful, and my nephew also drove up to spend some time with his uncle. Anyway, life has calmed down a bit today at least. This whole episode is reminding me why I got a 2nd degree in exercise science and why I wanted to teach group fitness or something along those lines. Yeah, I gripe about my weight but it's really not that bad, in fact surprisingly I've been able to maintain the 5 lb loss from my last attempt. Would still like to lose another 10, but that's just so normal. My overall health is good, and I'd like to keep it that way. Mindful eating, regular exercise & just being more active overall, that's what I want to do. And maybe help others do the same, that would be the cherry on top!
