Good morning, FS WARRIORS!!! 💜✨️ I just took a trip down memory lane on one of my old profiles (Caterpillar2Butterfly... I haven't taken the time to go to my other, FatGirlJenny, yet. I decided to share because I am not ashamed of who I am anymore.) I had a good cry. I was in such a good place back then, not only weight wise but in ALL aspects of life. I have no worries, though, because I know I can get back there again! 😉 This time, I have a couple of advantages. First of all, I'm not anywhere near where I started back then mentally & emotionally, because I have maintained SOME meditation, though it could be better. I will make it a priority to start back watching the sun rise & set, and I will start spending more time in nature again. Second of all, I remember the diet path that worked so well for me perfectly now. All I have to do is follow. 😊 Thank you so much, Debra, for encouraging me to revisit my past! 😘 Thank you, Phil, for jogging my memories even more. 💜 Thank you, Sugar Waffles. If it wasn't for your "good morning," none of this would have happened. 💕 Thank you, Lady, because you remembered me off the bat after all of these years & that made me feel unbelievably grateful. 💋 Anywhooo... Have a beautiful day, ALL!!! 😁

Are you pivoting to carnivore, or sticking to your seasonal approach?

@Lady... High fat carnivore. Still keep my coconut oil for BPC, though (at least for now). No sodium glutamate, no "natural flavorings", sugar etc (nothing I can't pronounce or don't know what it is). Organic grass-fed beef, cheese, pasteurized chicken & eggs when I can. Grass-fed butter ALWAYS.

I will eat until satiety.

That's pretty much what I was doing before. Believe it or not, I think the LC veggies may be why I'm not losing. Look at my food diary. I promise everything is logged, and I've not had weight loss as quickly as before. Absolutely nothing until this morning (.02 lb) after doing carnivore yesterday. We will see...

When I started doing the "seasonal thing" and making Gooding like coconut flour biscuits what when I started to get in trouble.

The women I have watched on YT who have been carnivores 10+ years look amazing. Their skin glows, great skin texture and they look younger than their stated age. And then there is raw vegan Annette Larkin, whose skin glows, has no wrinkles and looks much younger than her stated age. https://youtu.be/zSDKXkWpYTQ "70 Year Old Raw Foodist Looks Just 40!"

Not saying that I will be 100% perfect all of the time. I might slip up and have a slice of tomato or a few berries evey now again, but I am going to do my best. At least, after watching the video I shared with you, I see no reason to FORCE veggies anymore. Like we always say, to each their own. 😘

For sure, there's no reason to feel guilty for not eating "enough" vegetables.

I'm glad you went time traveling! It's good to remind yourself of what worked before! I over did it on the carbs today, but I think we worked them off picking pears. I have so many home grown fruits right now I could become a fruitarian quite easily LOL. My total carbs were at 52.34 and that is high for me. It's a tiny shift going from Keto to carnivore. I may shift towards it as winter approaches.

I'm mostly carnivore these days. I quit eating vegetables because they wreak havoc on my GI-tract and I've always despised fruit.

I'm not a store bought fruit and veggie eater, but this year the garden and the fruit trees have done well and with the work that goes into them, it would be a shame to forgo eating the harvest of your labor. Of course you don't have to eat it all in one sitting!!! I have always preferred meat over all else though and hubby hunting and providing plenty of venison and pork always makes me happy. We have a calf that is getting quite fat on the bumper crop of Bihalia Coastal hay in the pasture, we will probably take him out at 2 years. He's 5 months old right now. His name is Porterhouse 😊

I wish I liked fruit, and I can tolerate some every now and again, but by and large I've never been enamored with it. I even mostly quit avocado except for some occasional guacamole. My anti-fruit and anti-veg views are often a source of contention with my wife. lol

I have a carb eating hubby, he's eating what I feed him with no complaints, but he went off to the store today and bought ice cream. Bless him, he got an individual serving, but he bought two, just in case I caved and wanted some too. I did not! I don't give him grief about it though, and he supports me as much as he can, but he can't seem to forgo the frequent trips to the cupboard in the evenings and I have to tolerate the constant bag rustling and crunch crunch crunch of him eating his salty snacks

@phil maybe that has been my problem with my digestive tract. Sounds strange, I know, but I have very little to eliminate to find the problem. I haven't been eating much at ALL, but it was because of eating only when hungry, not because I've been starving myself. I didn't lose a single bit during this week with no fasting, until this morning. I ate an entire lb of grass-fed ground beef for dinner last night, a BPC for lunch, and just black coffee for breakfast. More "calories" than I have been eating on average days and had a loss this morning. Coincidence? 🤷‍♀️ We will see.

...as a matter of fact. I was actually gaining a lb or two some days.

@ Debra I have several fruit trees & I do love fruit! Most of mine are not really producing, yet, only 1 peach tree. My son and the chickens has eaten all of the fruit before it could even ripen...lol. ...and you're very right, it will be a VERY small transition for me, as a matter of fact Carnivore is a subset of keto. Nice that your hubby hunts! My neighbor deer hunts and we get some deer meat from him often. The only thing I really care for from it is when we make sausage. As far as the hubby thing, I cook normally for him most of the time. He is a big potato eater, though if I cook veggies, he's satisfied. He's never been big on mac-n-chs and such. As long as he's got his tortillas or toastadas, he's good. He does want bread from time to time, but he knows if he wants that he has to go buy it...lol. As far as sweets, he mostly likes pan (mexian sweet bread) 🤮, no temptation at all. He brought home ice cream (a family pack of crunch bars) for him and the kids last night, and offered me one as well. No thanks! No cravings! Good on us! 🙂

I like venison sausage, but my favorite thing is big tender chunks of backstrap wrapped in bacon and grilled. It is awesome! He bagged 4 deer this past season and the only reason I have not been eating any is because he keeps forgetting to refill the propane tank. We have to drive 18 miles to do it and he rembers the tank when he's halfway there

Daggg, Deb, put the propane tank in the car NOW while it's on your mind...lol. That's what I have to do sometimes. I live about 13 miles from town.
