Three days since I've journaled. Hmm. Well, this morning my weight was 213.2...which will be more than a 2 lb loss if it should hold there until tomorrow's "official" weigh in. I slept very late this morning though, so no idea what the "time of day" difference might be...hoping for the best though. I started at 233, so I'm just a few ounces away from having lost 20 lbs. One of the inspirations I originally had to start getting in shape and lose weight was a proposed trip to NYC with friends this winter...I couldn't imagine dragging myself, at the weight I was at, onto an airplane and then walking all around NYC sightseeing. I determined I would lose 40 lbs before December. This week it looks like I am approximately halfway there...and I bought my plane ticket. :-) I'm going, and I'm going to have fun! I'm just hoping I can wear some somewhat smaller clothing by then (will hold off buying anything new until sometime near Thanksgiving).
