MileStone passed the 30 lb loss marker and then some. Down 31.2 lbs as of this morning. And over 300k total steps since I started with my Garmin VivoFit. So does this mean 10k steps = 1 lb loss.... LOL I am joking.
Anyway it feels good. I feel so much better. Before we started this every time I ate I felt bloated my guts distended and tight uncomfortable. Almost to the point of sick since Christmas time. It did not matter what or how much I ate, I still felt that way. My IBS ruled my life. I worried some days to try even grocery shopping or taking a walk. So, quality of intake is so much more important to me now. Even those little cheat bites were nothing spectacular or over the top that I had yesterday - of course they were not bites of my favorite things either.
It also has me wondering what all of my food sensitivities were. I am on Atkin's so gluten, sugars, fake-sugars....? Not sure but I know they can be irritants esp since I already avoided green peppers, raw onions, hard cheeses like Parmesan and Romano and seriously spicy foods (which I love). In the past, even moderately spicy foods would kill me. Now, I can eat some in moderation with no impact.
