Took a mental break from tracking calories this week and will most likely start again on Monday. Have kept up with 14/10 to 19:7 IF - having lunch at noon and then closing my eating window sometimes before 5pm and on other days around 10pm - and trying to keep water intake up. Have also had a couple of walks this week and will do some more over the weekend when the weather's meant to be better.
Not tracking has been good as an exercise at maintenance, but ideally I would like to get to and maintain below 65kg. That's all fine - this year has been far better than the last two weight-wise. Last year in May I weighed around 69kg and the year before I got to 72kg - so progress has been made - 3kgs per year is not bad. It would be interesting if I could push myself to 63kg by next year. Right now I feel very skinny-fat - and more fat than skinny.
I fit into my clothes, but I know there was a time when I was alot more comfortable in them and felt overall leaner and I'd like to get back there again. Realised last night that when I thought I was using 5kg weights I've actually been working with 6.5kg this past few weeks. It's where I left off before, so I'm glad I've started up there again although I thought I was going lighter. No wonder I can't manage standing chest flys with them, but all in good time.
This week on Tuesday evening I did: Kaleigh Cohen Strength - 30 min FULL BODY STRENGTH with dumbbells Followed by: Daniela Suarez - 5 MIN QUICK FULL BODY STRETCHING EXERCISES FOR AFTER WORKOUT | Relax, recover and gain flexibility!
And last night I did: 30 min Full Body Resistance Training with Dumbbells Followed by her: POST-WORKOUT STRETCH for Injury Prevention & Flexibility
Felt good to get back to it and I keep hoping it will become part of my routine again, but for now I'm just glad to fit some workouts in and just doing what I feel like at the time.
Hope you've all had a good week and wishing you a lovely weekend! xxx
