Back from our mini vacay to visit family in Florida. Had fun, got sunburned, and almost died. Well, at least it felt that way. I'm used to drinking a lot of water every day, at least a gallon. I'm also used to fasting 19 hours a day. Well, between the drive, not enough sleep, the sun, too much water, and not enough food, I got some electrolytes out of whack and thought I was going to pass out. Got light headed, dizzy, and nauseated like I've never been before. I laid on the bathroom floor for a few hours, drinking salt water/pickle juice, eating sugar, and vomiting. After an awful night, being watched over by my amazing hubby and a NP friend via phone, I survived. 10/10 do not recommend!! The rest of the trip was spent eating, walking, shopping, and enjoying family. We saw alligators at a state park and white sand beach at Siesta Key!
Now, back to reality of lifting heavy things (that aren't my niece 😋) and my "normal" routines. Thankful for a break and ready to get back to it.
Hope everyone is having a great Monday!!
