My "challenge" starts today (well, it's not mine... mine - it's just the one that I joined) and, as a physical active thing to do for 30 minutes... I've chosen (for now) exercising. This is what I started doing and what I plan to continue: Of course... it's not even close to 30 min. so I'll need to add up to it. ;) If there will be a day in which I won't do them, I'll do them next day and start from there. At the end of it, I have to either find another one, or just start doing them backwards, decreasing. Good luck to everybody with their own goals! :)

How is this challenge gonna work with your cast?

Good luck with your challenge. I am in the middle of a challenge at my gym for the month of June--30 minutes of cardio each day for 30 days. I find it is not really hard to be active for 30 minutes, but I like being aware of the need to do it everyday. :)

@LoadGod - well... on saturday evening... I took the cast off. I've met with my boyfriend that night (first time in a few weeks) and I didn't want him to see me like that, with bandages around my leg etc.- not because he's... mean or something, but he would have just felt very sorry for me and sad for this and... me... well... I just wanted to have fun :D . I was going to put it back on the next morning, but... since it wasn't too bad without it... I let it off. Today I walked about 6 Km in a little over 1 hour and my ankle feels ok, and so it did the last couple of days. The only problem that still worries me: I can't turn my foot inwards at all and any such slight movement hurts a lot! But all and all, my foot is much better than last week. I did the squats, as much as I could, by keeping a 90 degree angle between the floor and the leg and also between the tights and my upper body (I used to stay like this for a few minutes at a time and also shower in a position close to this, everytime, for years, for strenght training), so they were harder, but... it worked! As for the part with the abs... well.. that does not relate to the ankle ;) , so I'd have no excuse for not doing it. Beside these I did other exercises as well, today, and everything was fine. Thank you for asking, it's real nice of you to remember, and good luck getting back on track after the trip and with breaking in the new shoes ;) ! :)

Thank you all for the support! It helps seeing other people "keeping their fingers crossed for you" - and it's also a big motivator! ;) Thank you! :)

Well, just be careful with that ankle. Sounds like it hasn't quite completely healed...hate for you to unknowingly cause more damage. Best of luck to you!
