Uggggg it’s been so hard to get these last 5 pounds for my initial goal, let alone the 15 for my final goal. So frustrating. Does anyone else deal with adrenal gland failure (I’m at around 10% functioning i think) combined with post menopause and slow thyroid issues? I’m sure there are and i feel like I’m making excuses i just don’t want to cut calories more and too lazy to add more excercise. So so frustrating. It’s gorgeous in Seattle area today for a change and summer is coming and i thought i would be at the finish line by now. Sorry just having a pity party and I’m the only attendee.🤬🥳🤨

I went through menopause 2 years ago, and was annoyed at how decreased estrogen also decreases my RDI, but I don't have the additional adrenal/thyroid issues to struggle with. If you're 5'9" you're pretty much at that sweet spot in terms of weight, so if you can manage a pound a month, consider it a win. Are you trying to drop the remaining 15 lbs. before you have your other hip operated on?

Thanks shesogucci and justbananas. Yes I’m trying to get it off before other hip but it’s more a mental state of mind for me. Don’t mind how i look in clothes and i recognize that the measurements are appropriate it’s just the cushion area. 135 to 140 if it goes up and down wont be scary. 148 to 150 as a baseline is a slippery slope back to 160 and more fore me. Food is like an abusive lover. I love food. Food doesn’t love me😜. Also i honestly do need to get 10 pounds off of excess….oh boy

Do you go for walks? That could add some movement into your day without adding exercise.

Kenny, i walk minimum of 4 miles a day 6x sometimes 7 a week. Have to keep mobility so that will be forever and then i work with trainer 45 minutes x 2 days a week and 3X a week on my own. I also chase my little black monster and my little white monster daily just for fun because they are funny! They have four legs, not the 2 legged kind of monsters.

I feel you! I have Hashimito disease ( a low thyroid issue) and it messes with my weight loss for sure. I have no magic answers, just support! 💜💜

I've read that sometimes you have to have chill days and not hit it so hard. Also that meditation and breathing sessions can help with relaxation. Hope you can give yourself a break once in awhile. All the best to you.
