First journal entry in over a month. A LOT going on here. For those of you who are friends with me on social media, please don’t say anything other than here ❤️. For starters, my mother is not doing well at all - spending much more time just tending to her. Secondly, I have something going on in the vertebrae at the base of my neck. Have not been able to lift weights since April 8th. Thirdly, I have been diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm and aortic valve issue. Apparently the valve thing I have had since birth. Have had studies done. See cardiologist for results in 2 weeks. I’m having ZERO symptoms. Found it by accident. Might have always had it. But reading the test results I have a couple of red flags. I’m not letting it slow me down. These pics are of today’s walk. Felt good. Didn’t try to gas it. Just a good, steady pace. Hope everyone is doing well here. I’ve missed you all and just being here. 💙

🙏🙏 I have an aortic aneurysm also and see a heart doctor to monitor. Take care and just make sure you follow any guidelines they give you.

My mom had an aortic aneurysm for decades.....stable ...like yours discovered by accident...no worries..just monitor..it was not what killed her...

Sorry to hear about the aneurysm! Years ago I was scared to death I might have one when my doctor sent me for a test (maybe an ultra sound?) because he could feel a strong pulse in my leg. It was nothing. Hope and pray all goes well and you have a good plan for dealing with it.
