Twas a chilly weekend and now that Monday has arrived so has the sun!! Strange to be so chilly in August ... weird weather all across the country this summer it seems. Scale up again today, no real surprise to me as I exercised extra this weekend and at extra on Saturday. I am close to the top of the range I am comfortable with at 184 and so today I have plans to be very conscious about my eating and hydration. Last night my husband was craving a burger and wanted to hop in the car and drive to the closest junk food drive-through and score a burger (18 miles from our home). I was hungry too!! But, I laughed and said "no thanks" ... because I know that burger would just sit on my stomach and make me feel very funky this morning!! So, instead we talked about all the types of food we'd love to eat and went to sleep!! LOL!!! We have a trip planned for late October ... back to Mexico!! Lots of good eating there. Lots to look forward to, sand, sun, relaxation, and good food!! Have a splendid day ...

Oooh! Do you have room in your suitcase for me? I wanna go! :) It has definitely been a strange summer, weather-wise. Great job talking yourselves out of that burger! Once in awhile one of us will get a craving, but luckily the other of us will keep a level head. Once in awhile the timing is right (wrong?) and we endulge (can you say "Boardwalk"? :) Have a wonderfully conscious day!

Weird weather for sure! We've had a cool, rainy summer up until last week. Now it's a HOT 90 degrees and HUMID! Go figure. :( Good job evading that burger! I guess the 18 mile drive helped too..LOL Trip to Mexico sounds like fun, fun, fun!!! :)

Good job staying away from the junk burger, you win twice (saved the gas also). I just finished booking for October as well (mystery destination), so we'll be absent from Fatsecret at the same time (but, I take a netbook on trips so I'll be checking in occasionally). Try to hold yourself below 185 but not necessarily wait until you get there. How about doing a low day today with me? :-)

Ah! Mexico! How exciting! You are doing the right thing Chickie! By not eating big when the weather changes - I mean. I could give ya some helpful tips and pointers but - hey - who am I - just some "pretty" girl! He-he-he-he-he-he-he! Just jesting. Just jesting.
