I try to approximate, in the morning or the day before, the activities I'm going to do that day (or the next) and I write them down in the app, so that I can take care to, at least, not gain weight - I can change them back to the real ones later, at night. This gives me a max for calories. Then... I also "cheat against myself", when recording in the app: I choose the less time, the less strenuous activity and the most energetic meal from all similar (or with similar values). ;)
