Good morning FatSecret Family!
Well, yesterday was my 2 year anniversary of this attempt at weight loss. I started in 2015 at 309.... there were no other entries of weight record. I did try to log for a bit. Then I started again in 2018 - now weighing in at 344..... again, I tried to log food for a bit, but no record of weight loss (or gain). In 2021, after a difficult discussion with my mom (thank you mom), I was seeking assistance from a surgeon. I met with my own doctor weighing in at a whopping 367 pounds!!!!! I met with a surgeon on March 10 (360 pounds). The surgery was going to put me in trouble during our busy season at work, so my decision was to wait until October to start the process. Meanwhile, I would go back to FS and try to lose a little on my own. I did very well and by October, I was thinking I would postpone surgery indefinitely. It's still not off the table, but I DO NOT INTEND to NEED it. Now, some would say that I still need it (my docs). I am still technically in the obese category. But my goal weight- 191 - will put me into the "overweight" category. And I believe that will be acceptable and sustainable for me! I feel good, I look good, I have so many NSV (non-scale victories that I can't mention them. I am meeting again with my doc next week. My A1C has been normal for the past year, and I should be off the blood pressure meds this visit. I am eternally grateful to my Father in Heaven, the support of my family, and ALL OF YOU! My FATSECRET WARRIORS!

I am NOT special! I was morbidly obese! The only reason I have lost SO much weight is because I was SO FAT! (That's all on me) BUT - Thank you all for the kind words! I feel like those of you who are battling the smaller weights have it harder than I! I am realizing now that the LAST 20 - 30 are by far the most difficult! Love you all! And I appreciate you all more than I can express!! 💪 💯 🌎 🫶 ☘️

welcome back to fat secret. you can do it, and however works best for you. (my goal weight just puts me at the edge of not obese / and obese.)

Hi Buenita! I am good! Hope you and hubby are doing well also! Starting to get busy at work...... Also - not really losing anything! I'm eating too much and slowly creeping up again. Nothing serious - YET! But I'm frustrated with myself. Just trying to hang on by my fingernails! The saga continues ....
