kelvin069's Journal, 25 February 2023

Reading through everyone's posts and feeling like I'm doing okay-- not great and not terrible. There was a time when I lost a lot of weight very quickly and in an unhealthy way. This time, I want to be fit and healthy--and slender, too (yes, I absolutely want it all). Feeling like because I'm 46 the best years are behind me--and not wanting to believe that's true.

You will always be your best if you don't think about your years. it's so crazy that I'm 62 and feeling better than I have since 2015-age 54. you're doing great and so much to come 🌞

Oh KELVIN069–46 is still just a kid. I’m much older and I swear some of the bestest years of my life were right where you are now. You are in charge of how you want the years ahead of you to play out. If it is your weight holding you back, then keep working at it with conviction. That choice is yours. Until you get to where you want to be just concentrate on having good times, good friends and EXPERIENCES. One thing I can guarantee you is that possessions and things mean NOTHING as time goes on. EXPERIENCES mean everything. You can do this.

You got this! I had been on many weight loss programs over the years and finally in my late 50's found something that is working for me. I am fit, healthy and toned and in better health than I was in in my 20's so no matter the age we can change! For me finding strength training was the best thing for my body and mind. I love FS because there are so many different ideas and ways to try things to find something that will be your long term life change.

Age is just a number right? Warren Buffet created 90% of his wealth after age 65. So like I tell my wife. It’s not that I am not successful I am just not old enough yet.
