Hi guys I never post but am looking for some help. I'm very honest in why I'm overweight. because I ate too much and didn't move enough! Four weeks ago I overhauled my diet and have not lost 1 ounce in 4 weeks. It's soul destroying. I calorie count, have cut the crap out limit alcohol dairy and bread. Most days I'm round 1500 calories. (Except for the 2 days when I went off the rails after weighing myself and ate probably 3500 those 2 days!) I'm not great with macros just try to eat whole foods. please help!!!!!! Any advice appreciated.

I really recommend watching frumpyfit's video on calorie deficits on youtube as well as her other videos. It's really helped me, my main takeaways are that if you are in too big of a calorie deficit you will find it harder to loose weight as binging can happen, as well as your body holds onto fat because it thinks it needs to store it as its being starved (by starved i mean too big of a calorie decifit), sustainability is the goal, also scale weight fluctuates SO much u can go up or down a kg in the span of a day, due salt, water and even stress. Maybe find other ways to measure your progress like pics or tape measure, etc because u could be loosing weight but the scale isnt showing it. hope these helps ❤

work out your weekly allowance. (you'll need to know your calorie deficit) but say your deficit is 1700. times by 7 = 11900 for the week. now, you don't need to eat 1700 a day, you can splurge a bit some days, 2500 on sat, 2000 on Sunday and it leaves you 1480 for the remaining days. it's the WEEKLY deficit that matters. and being consistent, you can't say "it's not working" if you aren't being consistent. I've lost 7 stone so far so I know you can do it!!!!

Low carb, low sugar , keep carbs 50 and below if you struggle at first start with 100 carbs and work backwards the lower the carbs the less weight gain you will have, track carbs on here- Keto foods
