Finally! A decent loss. I am down 4 pounds from last week. That is incredibly substantial. I also want to point out that I have been steadily gaining the last 4 weeks to a total of 7.4 pounds. I have now got half of that off.
I note that over those four weeks that my average calories were 100 or more per day over my 'window'. I ate within my window this week and surprise, surprise I lost! Very predictable both the gains and the loss.
Right now I am working on being more mindful about night time snacking. I am trying to pause before I do it. It certainly has made me more aware of what I am doing. I suspect my indulging would be a higher magnitude without that pause however I have not stopped.
I am tracking my exercise more. I am averaging around an hour of exercise per day which is what I want for myself. I am trying to balance flexibility, strength and cardio. I think I am doing not too bad on that score - maybe a bit shy on the strength piece.
Next week I am planning to be in Edmonton for two events. I am going to an in-person course that I had originally signed up to do on zoom. I was invited by a friend of mine who has a Blues band to come to a show. I couldn't resist making the 6 hour run to the city with both things happening! A Blues Dance Party!! How fun! My friend Diane is going with me so that will make it extra nice. I will go on Friday and be home Sunday night. This will have some ramifications on the food front. Fortunately Diane eats well and that will help.
