Your father. I don’t know him but I feel such compassion for him after reading this. Very touching to my heart. ❤️😔

I'm glad your father is getting stronger. 6k steps is pretty great! I'm sorry he had to witness something so sad and so frightening. Thanks for sharing.

Glad to hear you made it safely. Also, good to hear your father is bouncing back from his illness. Living through the air raids had to have impacted him, but sometimes the tempering process leaves its mark. I hope you have a good visit.

This is why you were going to Tokyo? Thank you for this, I understand your mixed feelings now. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved ones and am very moved by your father’s story. It takes great character to respect those who you do not see eye to eye with. Your photo is so rich in feeling, really love it. How Creative you are! ❤️

Yfritz I am so glad that you look pass that with your dad. I always remind myself even if he annoys me that I only have one of him. He may be crazy but he’s still family. I miss my father very much and it’s been 27 years still miss him, his war stories, loud snoring and giving me life advice. I appreciate you sharing us your private moment. Love you sis🫶🏽

Wifey that’s very kind of you and I’ll relay your message to my dad. It took me decades to develop a sliver of compassion for him. Still in progress.

Yago he visto filmaciones de la Guerra Civil Española, también conocida como guerra contra los niños. Recuerdo el retrato de tu hermosa madre que compartiste hace varios meses. Tenía una hermosa y conmovedora sonrisa.

🧸🧸🧸 This air raid alone left 100,000 dead and 1 million homeless, which is shocking when we compare that with the combined number of immediate deaths in Hiroshima and Nagasaki which was slightly less (80,000). My dad owns a waterfront condo that faces the Sumida River. We go extra miles to remember the dead, commune with the dead, there are even outrageously funny stories about it, and I love that about Japanese.
