Fatsecret keeps pestering me to "weigh in now". Oh fatsecret, you're so crazy! You know damn well last weekend was a holiday weekend, plus my birthday... I'll do no such thing. Enough with the shenanigans.

I'm sure the holiday damage isn't bad, if there is any at all, but why chance it? If I step on the scale and it's up a couple pounds the only thing it will change is my mood. I'll still keep eating right and working out, so why sacrifice my positivity? That's how I see it anyway. Weighing in a few times a month is one thing, but I'm no glutton for punishment.

Yesterday was an excellent day so far as input and output. I went to the gym, went shopping twice, worked in my garden. According to my fitbit I put in over 13,000 steps. At this rate I will hopefully get a pretty good weigh in next week. The bummer is that this week has now become rainy. Ugh. I want sunshine and mild temps, the kind of weather that you can go out and do something in! But what I want has never really mattered much lol, best learn to make the best out of what I've got.

Back to class tonight. Spring break had me spoiled, spending the evenings home with my family was great. It also had me spoiled as far as sleeping in. I overslept this morning and had to drive my daughter to school late lol. I'm impressed though, that this is the first time it's ever happened ;)

So not much on my agenda today, just getting my school stuff straightened out and heading back to class. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

You can change the nagging in your settings. Just tell it to never remind you. That's what I did. I weigh in when I want to lol. That helps with the obsession in my case.

I agree on the weigh-in, do it when you're ready. I'm sure when you weigh in next all of your hard work will show. Good luck getting back to the school routine!!

Great idea msbuggirl. I just got on my settings to switch the reminder time only to find that it's already set to 'never' remind me. Still bugs me every week though. Shame on fatsecret.

Yes, you need a break from the scale under those circumstances. Got to keep those negative thoughts away!! I have been ignoring the scale and the notices too. I know my numbers can't be good!

I, too, have been avoiding the scale until I get things back on an even keel after Easter. I am heading out to seem my family for a week on Saturday, so I am going to brave a weigh in between now and then. :)
