I weigh in daily as a constant reminder not to slip up (too much). And I do think it motivates me more.

Shake Those Pounds -- the reason I weigh daily is actually because of day to day weight fluctuations. My lowest weight this week was 127 and the highest was 131, with the rest at 128-129. If my weekly weigh in day fell on one of the out of range days, either high or low, and I wasn't weighing daily, it would give me a really inaccurate picture of my weight. But I'm also someone who's not emotionally wrapped up in the number on the scale. Doesn't work for everyone, I realize

The reasons I weigh everyday are as follows. If I am down I get excited and go for a walk. If I’m even I get pissed and go for a walk. If I gain I get really pissed and go for a walk

I like daily weigh-in’s. I like celebrating several little successes per week than just one (or one big disappointment in the end).

I'm torn on this. Too many people get frustrated because the scale didn't change, but they replaced fat with muscle.
As for your question, I usually try to weigh in once a week unless the program requires a different timeframe.

Daily here and ok with the daily fluctuations of 2 lbs some days so I don’t fixate on the day but the trend.

I try to weigh daily, but I seem to have lost my scale a week or so ago...probably a good thing since we went home to visit family for Thanksgiving. LOL...I try to weigh in the morning when I first get up when I'm on dayshift. But I weigh a lot less often when I'm on nightshift.

Never was one to weigh daily til I started using this app and now I feel I need to track daily losses or gains.

I usually post my daily weight, which can fluctuate wildy, because it helps me to accept that fact and to know that if I stay on plan, the trend will be downward.

I used to weight and post every day for years. My weight has been so stable lately that I only post once a week or so. I still check my weight daily. Because I find daily fluctuations confusing, I log my average weight for each week...

Less is more for me. I used to do same time same clothes (or none :-) ) every day. I got a little obsessed. Go with how you feel firat, trust the erosion of fat thru the addition of good eating and exercise and let time take care of the rest. I weigh in like once maybe twice a week now. I don’t freak if I’m up or down - a lot of factors…weather, water, time of day, clothes … but my belt is getting loose - that’s what counts?
