Yesterday was end of month, it was awful, so I may go into work Monday, even though I had declared it a vacation day. Just the day went by too fast, and there was still a lot to do. As I have gotten older and wiser I discovered that there are six things that I really love about my job. Pay day, lunch time, quitting time, vacation time, holidays, and of course retirement, (someday).😁 Last night I went grocery shopping, I guess I just like being able to go grocery shopping and feeling that I'm fighting a thousand people. 😖 Finally arriving home I brought in two bags out of twelve. I put those away and went to speak with my hubby sitting on the bed. He was already in bed. I am not sure what magic happened, but I ended up sleeping till 1:30am and awoke realizing I hadn’t finished putting away the groceries, ahhhh! Knowing it was Thanksgiving I used fowl language!😄 I thought it was really cold out, yet the items were pretty warm.😞 I will sample everything being a human Guinea pig, and microwave anything I can, just in case. It was sooo cold out I am shocked the food had even had gotten warm. I put the ice cream away without looking at it. 🫣 Thank goodness my main stuff wasn’t needing to go in the refrigerator. I am going to start working on a few dishes, as my girlfriend lives two hours away and I just can’t be late! Diet tip today: Don’t.😆 Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 and a special blessing to the Floridians families today.❤️🌺 We may not have it all together, but together, we have it all.

Oh goodness! Sorry about your groceries. You are so busy and work so hard so I can see that you could forget. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with extra coffee!:)

The Conscious Eater, do you celebrate Thanksgiving? Just wondering so much of it is marketing that many countries have some type of it. I was so good this year, last year I went off my rocker snacking on leftovers. You’re already so skinny, you can enjoy snacking here and there! Have a Stupendous Sunday!!!👍☀️

Ginome thank you and I truly did need this holiday. After Thanksgiving I have never relaxed so much. Except for laundry and dishes, I truly enjoyed my time off. Sometimes one just needs time off of everything. I hope others got to rest as well.👍

NAVYWIFESKI, I couldn’t believe I had fallen asleep, yet the groceries did survive, I have even enjoyed the eggnog, (my worse enemy calorie wise), so all is well. Throwing out the shrimp though, it is something I am not chancing. Had wine instead of coffee at my friend’s. I nursed it, but loved it. 🍷 👍😋 (My girlfriend’s coffee is awful, love her, not her coffee)🥴

Shirfleur 💕, sorry about your Thanksgiving. I hate driving to my girlfriend’s even though it was dry and sunny. Too many drunk drivers and crammed roadways, just hate it. Glad your safe, that’s more important!! Not sure if you’re celebrating today, if so have a fun one!!❤️👍 Ice cream made it, a little sad looking, but it’s OK.
