They're back!!! The snowflakes are back :( Argh, winter coming early! Boots and big coats now for exercise outdoors. An OK day yesterday with exercise, water, fiber but not so much with quality food choices. Too much sodium in one meal- pizza. Too much sugar overall. Not a great idea to buy a deli prepared supermarket pizza with just ingredients posted but no nutritional breakdown information. It becomes a bit of a mystery what you are really getting. I was just tired of things I've been eating lately and food prep. Did the best I could and hopefully overestimated the calories. The crust was thinner than a tortilla and I ended up eating four of eight slices of a sixteen inch pie. Removed the pepperoni from that side of the pizza except for a few pieces before cooking it. It really didn't live up to the calories. I went way over yesterday. Between no lunch, being tired and the pizza being paper thin, I was still hungry later and ate my usual somewhat healthy snacks. It would have been better and likely more sustaining to have had one slice of thick crust pepperoni pizza from a pizzeria with a side salad but alas, I live in food desert now. No more walking in off the street to order a slice. Yesterday didn't work because the food was high in calories, had no nutritional breakdown information and just wasn't satisfying. I was left still feeling hungry and wasn't willing to give up the snacks I typically eat at the end of the day. I got exercise but ended up with no calorie deficit. Better choices today.
