I may be hitting a plateau. Consuming ~2350 calories a day 6 days/week. 1 free day /week, usually on Saturday. That day I would estimate about 5000 calories.

That is 19,100 calories week/ 7 = 2728 calories/day.

Rule of thumb 10 calories per pound body mass is 2700 calories, so that checks out. In my early 30s, I was running a bit higher than that with TDEE of 3300 calories per day even at lower body weights. At this level of intake, it would have worked out to 600 calorie/day or 4200 calorie/week (or 1.2 lb./week) deficit. I have to consider possibility my TDEE has lowered.

Plan: stick to meal plan next two days (Saturday and Sunday). Free day will be Halloween (Monday). Will weigh in Monday morning.

Then: Stick to meal plan over the next two weeks. Free days will be Sat. November 5th and Sat. Nov. 12th. Check weigh November 4th, November 11th, before free days. If not averaging 1 lb lost per week, will need to make an adjustment.

Options for adjustment:

1. add in walking in the morning before breakfast
2. reduce 100 calories/day to 2260.
3. (least attractive) modify free day (no alcohol) or have free day only every other week instead of every week.

Note to self: Trust the process. Also, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
