I'm better with discipline today because I know tomorrow is going to be today really FAST :-) But I don't beat myself up when I really want something today :-)

Agreed. I would rather fit in my skinny jeans than eat that sugary, fatty thing etc. Not worth it to me.

GolfMarina- I so agree! I am able to pass up all the sugary sweets at work now because I dont want to be on that habitual train of eating all that sugar. I love when everyone posts Throw Back Thursday pic's because it reinforces what we need to and stay on track.

LB- You are right too! Life is short so I think occasionally if we don't stay the course, it is ok as long as we get right back to the basics. FS is a great place to keep everyone motivated!

Redporchlady, I just changed my WOE. Removed foods with added sugars, salts, flour, starches and added more herbs and spices so my dishes are always flavorful and aren't really considered basic. I do miss Lasagna and pasta dishes, sauces and pairing a fine wine with dinner (1 glass and I'm good) but more than anything I want to shed the 'Lasagnas and pasta dishes that are sitting on my hips and thighs left over from last winter 🤣🤣🤣 The trick is too making my dishes as flavorful as possible without adding empty calories. I wish I could find a trainer like you have! All in good time, I must not be ready... Keep posting your workouts please as they are helping me to move forward from the stagnation of lockdown. :-)

LB - Love what you have done with all of your dishes to make them more flavorable! I miss Lasagna too, but I did find a recipe I like that you make lasagna with zucchini strips. You are right and you will find the right trainer. I found mine because I was telling my hair dresser my bad health results and that the doctor told me to do something about it. She said my husband is a trainer - try him. God was definitely putting the right people in my life.

I completely agree RPLady👍 Right time Right place Right people and things fall into place as they should, I have faith. As for the Lasagna with zucchini strips, sounds fabulous. I made a note to get in touch with you when I've moved a bit more towards my goal. Cheese is also something I am wary of because of the salt. But soon, very soon :-)

OTB so true and when it comes to working our muscles if you put it off too long you will lose everything you worked for.

RPL-This is great! I remember this post well (lost the note over the holidays) Great timing 🏋️‍♀️💪🤸‍♀️ (Still haven't found trainer, might have to hire someone to take sofa away to make room for Total Gym) 🤷‍♀️

LB - Total Gym sounds like a great idea!! I was just reading the 10 things not to do after workout and one was to come home and sit on the couch. I forwarded the link to my husband and he was oops we break a lot of the rules on there. Yesterday's training session was brutal. I don't know why but the 10 minutes at the end with the weighted prowler I thought I was not going to make it but I did. Still sore today!

RPL-TG has been the best. I wish I had a trainer to go with it. The sofa/couch/pull out bed has to go!!!
