so.... 1st doctor's visit since beginning weight loss... my b.p. meds were running out..and quite frankly.. I have been taking a half dose for more than 6 months..slowly been tapering off..and these last 3 weeks before my appointment.. no meds.. just so I could get a true read on the visit.
The doctor came in ... sat down.. looked at my chart... looked at me... looked back at the chart... looked at me... and asked with a smirk. "do I have the right chart?" He confirmed my birth date and I said "how are you?" and he said... I think you're about to make my day!
He asked me how I lost the weight..and I told him Atkins and Fatsecret.com.
Not ONE negative thing was said about Atkins.. he was astounded, proud and quite frankly dazed. Pretty dandy cool if you ask me. :)
I told him I hadn't been on meds as well... soooooo

Oh yea...and I no longer have to take b.p. meds!! Bwhahahahahaha!
